The most breathtaking way to
get to Monkey Mia. Northwards
along the Zuytdorp Cliffs past
Womerangee Hill, where the cliffs
rise to a staggering 900 ft. -the
highest point on the West Coast
then over Shark Bay and across the
Useless Loop salt pans, where in
excess of a million tons of salt is
produced annually. We land at
Shark Bay Airport where the taxi is
waiting for the short trip to Monkey
Mia. Two leisurely hours on the
beach to say hello to the dolphins, then back to the aircraft for the
return flight to Kalbarri. In warmer
months sharks are often seen
basking in the shallows, and
everyone gets a glimpse of the world
famous Shell Beach before arriving
back in Kalbarri in time for lunch.
